Twelfth Night

Shakespeare in the park last night as the Company of Fools made their annual stop at Clare Gardens.  There were lots of kids in the front row, obviously fascinated by the sight of half a dozen adults playing make believe, though a little unclear about the not getting up and wandering around in the action part.  The company likes to mine popular movie and song to help get the point across (S's jokes don't always hit the mark without extreme massaging anymore), and I found myself thinking it'd be fun to play Malvolio and Olivia as E.B. Farnum and Mrs Garret from Deadwood.  Douglas
