CHARLES X, King of France, born October 9th 1757, ascended the throne September 16th 1824, reigned six years. Exiled July 29th 1830, he died surrounded by his family at Goritz, November 6th, 1836, at 6:30 in the morning. He rapidly approached his final moments with calm and resignation and after having received the sacraments with profound piety he gave his soul to God.

Goritz, an Austrian town at the head of the Adriatic, is now part of Slovenia. Charles' body is housed at the nearby monastery of Kostanjevica. He is the only French king not buried in France, and some people want him back. Source. Source.
