Ann Budge's league reconstruction taskforce began work Monday, as Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said there should be no matches in front of fans anytime soon. The World Health Organization has reportedly advised UEFA to cancel all football through to the end of 2021.
The taskforce is reported to be looking at a 14-team Premiership. The top division has been made up of fourteen teams only two seasons up till now, in 1903-04 and 1904-05.
Gary Holt, head coach of Livingston FC, wants an 18-team Premiership.
Considering that Morton finished seventh in the Championship, a 19-team Premiership is the only acceptable solution.
I don't know why Livi have a head coach instead of a manager.

The 100th Emperor's Cup has been reformatted again. Round One will now take place in September, and only 50 clubs will participate instead of the usual 88. About Clackmannan FC:
Alloa Athletic used to have a county rival, Clackmannan FC, a club that existed from 1885 to 1931. They wore blue and white hoops and played at Chapelhill Park. The town of Clackmannan is two miles south of Alloa.
Clackmannan were members of the SFL for four seasons only. They played in the newly reconstituted Division Two in 1921-22, finishing 20th and then dropping out. And they played in the short-lived Division Three from 1923-24 to 1925-26. In their time in the SFL they played twelve of the present-day SPFL clubs: Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline, East Fife, Stenhousemuir, St Johnstone, Forfar, Arbroath, Queen of the South, Montrose, Brechin Dundee United (as Dundee Hibernian) and Alloa.
