Developments:
The 2021-22 SPFL schedule came out Tuesday.
The first phase of the 2021-22 WoSFL schedule came out yesterday. It was dependent on the SPFL fixtures as University of Glasgow groundshare with Airdrieonians.
The Lowland League has admitted Rangers and Celtic colt teams, but where will they play? Rangers approached Ayr United about a groundshare but were rebuffed. In recent years Celtic's colts played out of Cappielow, but 17 Celtic home games would put a strain on the already battered pitch. If you ask me, the Old Firm should pool their considerable resources and rehabilitate Cathkin Park, which they could then share.
Forge FC have signed a couple of Central American players: Omar Browne from Independiente de la Chorrera in Panama and Joshua Navarro from AD Municipal Pérez Zeledón in Costa Rica.
The CFL will start August 5th.
AUS soccer starts September 10th.
