Queen of the South host Morton. QoS are seventh in the Championship with 9 points, Morton ninth with 6. Morton have not won a league match since August 7th. This is their worst season start since 2013-14. (See below.) In terms of goalscoring, things are worse than 2013-14. Morton's top scorer in league play is Gary Oliver with 2 goals. Queen of the South's is Lee Connelly with 4. But, owing to the large number of crap teams in the Championship this year, Morton are still not out of touch with the pack. If they can win by 2 goals today they will leap above the Doonhamers, possibly as high as seventh place.
QoS won the first meeting 2 - 3 on August 21st. They will play Morton December 1st in the Challenge Cup.
