This map shows the types of rock underlying the Clyde shore from Greenock to Largs. As you always suspected, Gourock is an igneous intrusion. Source.
Morton host Ayr United. Morton are sixth with 35 points, Ayr eighth with 32. In the three matches to date Morton have a win and two draws against the Honest Men.
We are now into the final six games of the season, when Morton traditionally run out of healthy players and go into a tailspin. (See below.) But Dougie Imrie is back from suspension, so hopefully WWWWWW. If Morton win their last six games they'll finish somewhere around fifth. If they lose their last six, they'll likely up ninth. If they win four plus one draw and one loss they'll finish 12W 12D 12L for 48 points.
When was the last time Morton and Ayr United met in the top division? April 26th, 1975. 1 - 1 at Cappielow.

Round One: Waseda University [2 - 3] Kokushikan University (March 24)
Waseda University has men's teams to two leagues: the JUFA Kanto League Division 1, and the Tokyo Shakaijin Soccer League Division 1. JUFA stands for Japan University Football Association. There is no national university league; Kanto 1 is by far the strongest of the regional university leagues. Shakaijin means "member of society" and implies that its teams aren't professional, corporate, academic, civil service or military, though they sometimes are. But some of the Tokyo Shakaijin teams are affliated with clubs in the higher leagues, and some are on the way up themselves. The Tokyo Shakaijin League starts this weekend:
Waseda University [4 - 0] FC Aoyama (March 27)
