Russia:    Lada Togliatti returns to the KHL, bringing the league up to 23 teams.

Sweden:    Brynäs is relegated after having been in the top Swedish league for 63 years. Modo is promoted to the SHL. Västerviks IK is relegated from the Hockeyallsvenskan. Nybro Vikings is promoted to the Hockeyallsvenskan.

Finland:    No change in the Liiga. Peliitat and Zemgale are out of the Mestis and Jokerit is in.

Germany:    Bietigheim Steelers is relegated to DEL2, reducing the league to 14 teams. Heilbronner Falken is relegated from DEL2 to the Oberliga. Starbulls Rosenheim is promoted from the Oberliga to DEL2.

Switzerland:    No change.

Czech Republic:    No change.

Slovakia:    Prešov is relegated. HC 19 Humenné is promoted. In the second-tier Slovak Hockey League HK Levice have moved temporarily to Poprad and will operate under the name AquaCity Pikes while their rink is being refurbished.

Austria:    No change.

Hungary:    No change.

Norway:    Grüner is relegated. Lørenskog is promoted.

Britain:    No change.

France:    No change.

Asia League Ice Hockey: No change.

LNAH:    Bâtisseurs de Montcalm has folded after one season, bringing the league back down to six teams.
