In March a flock of sheep occupied the diddiest soccer ground in Greenock, off Jupiter Terrace in Braeside. No way this place has a bronze license. Source.
Morton host Annan Athletic in a friendly match of association football. These two last met two years ago in a friendly at Annan's ground Galabank, but the match was abandoned due to a broken leg bone. They last met in a competitive match five years ago in the League Cup group stage, and Morton won 5 - 0.
Morton have signed Zak Delaney, formerly of West Bromwich Albion, Bath City, Inverness CT and Arbroath.
Annan have signed 36-year-old Paul McGowan, who scored 11 goals for Morton in 2006-07.
Inverclyde went Labour in Thursday's general election, along with nearly the entire Central Belt. But you can still see some SNP territory from Greenock if you look across to Helensburgh.
[Morton 1 - 0 Annan. Goal by Jordan Davies.]

The West of Scotland League and the Western Cup were both played as double-round-robin leagues with the same eight teams, looking like an early attempt at a quadruple-round-robin league.
The Western Cup fixture Dumbarton Harp vs Arthurlie is unaccounted for. The February 16th match is a puzzle because Renton vs Arthurlie had already been played.
